These organisations are providing support to members of the community who have been impacted by the Hillcrest tragedy. If you think you could benefit from a chat about how you are feeling, please get in touch with one of them for a no-cost consultation or conversation. Sometimes just sharing your thoughts with someone can be really helpful.

Devonport Counselling Service
The Devonport Counselling Service provides free group, one-on-one and outreach support to the Devonport Community. Grief, loss, general counselling and mental health support are available for community members residing in Devonport or surrounding areas.Anyone from the Devonport area (or surrounds) can self-refer to this service, or alternatively be referred by another service/organisation by contacting Rural Health Tasmania via contact details provided.Ph: (03) 6452 1266

headspace DevonportCounselling and support services to young people aged 12-25 from the broader Devonport community impacted by the Hillcrest Primary School incident.Direct referral (GP or other health professional, community service providers, school, parent, carer or self-referral) to headspace Devonport.
